Houses that are tidy, clean, free of clutter and have walls that are neutrally toned are considered to the easiest to sell. Some of the experts are advising to have your walls painted with white and some are advising to have it painted with, neutral, pale and matching colors. If for some reason you can't have the house painted, cleaning the house can also do the trick. Just make sure the walls are clean, remove clutters, and clean the woodworks.
While de-cluttering, you can also begin packing your things. But considering that some houses are sold after three months before planning to move (some are after a year) it is important not to sell it straight away unless your house is in a very much sought after area and your house has a good competitive price. If not, you may have to wait longer before your house gets sold.
