Final Week of preparation

   

The final week of your packing adventure is going to be filled with packing, rushing, panicking and arranging your address change. Your banks, mobile phone service company and utilities should be advised on which date you will be moving into your new house. This will ensure that your bills will be mailed to the right address and you will be updated on what you have to pay to avoid overdue fees.

The final week of packing is al about making sure that you have everything is in order. There should be a few boxes left and ready to be sealed. By now, you will find that you have a lot of several stacks of boxes in each room and exhausted of the whole moving process. But in several days you will be in your new home and will be doing some unloading and unpacking to do. With few a days remaining before moving, all of your appliances should have been checked and cleaned. You should also consider not buying any frozen foods until you have moved or it may just be wasted. You can use up all the goods in your freezer before moving to avoid being wasted, and start making a list on what things you need on your new house.

You should also consider cleaning any rooms that will not be used as much. Give them a thorough scrubbing or you can hire someone to the job so save you from doing the task. You should also consider notifying people that you know or you do business with of your new address so they can contact you easily if they need to.
